WHAT YOU’LL NEED: Standard Crayola Broad Tip and/or SuperTip markers; unlined paper
COST: $25
Designed for total calligraphy beginners, by the end of this class, you’ll:
Understand the foundations of calligraphy, including the mechanics of your Crayola marker and how to use it to create modern script;
Be proficient in the 10 basic calligraphy strokes, the building blocks of all calligraphic alphabets;
Be able to script a lowercase alphabet in modern brush calligraphy; and
Have the confidence, skills and materials to continue your new super fun creative hobby at home!
All participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, share their work and get feedback in real time. You’ll also receive a PDF guidelines and workbook to print and continue your practice at home.
This workshop is designed for total beginners, so no experience is necessary. Lefties are welcome! To ensure opportunity for feedback, space for this event is limited. I can’t wait to see you all there!
